時間的表達方法: ?9：00 nine / nine o'clock　（“o'clock”僅指鐘表的長針位于正上方的時間）

?9：05 nine O five?。ā癘”發音為oh）

?9：15 nine fifteen / fifteen minutes past nine

?9：30 nine thirty / thirty minutes past nine / half past nine

?9：45 nine forty-five / fifteen minutes to ten / a quarter to ten
日期的表達方法: ?2011年8月8日 the eighth of August, two thousand (and) eleven　（8 August 2011） August (the) eighth, two thousand (and) eleven?。ˋugust 8, 2011） *日期寫作日/月/年、月/日/年

?8月21日到23日 from August 21st(twenty-first) to the 23rd(twenty-third) *日期通常在數字后面加上th，不過1日是1st，2日是2nd，3日是3rd，21日是21st，
22日是22nd，23日是23rd，31日是31st

在會話中使用的例子: 我們必須從2點半開始生產下一個產品。 We need to start producing the next products at two thirty.

我要參加展會，所以從9月22日到26日不在公司。 I'll be out of office from September 22nd to the 26th to participate in an exhibition.
